PlantLyfe Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PlantLyfe ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. PlantLyfe is operated by SAPANA LTD.

2. Description of Service

PlantLyfe is a smart plant care companion offering AI-powered plant identification, personalised care schedules, plant health diagnosis and recovery plans, gamification (XP, levels, achievements), and EVE AI companion.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

PlantLyfe offers a free tier with limited AI scans, and a Premium subscription at $2.99/month USD.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID Account Settings
• Access to premium features continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation; no partial refunds are provided
• If a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand
• Prices may change with reasonable notice

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit through the App. By using PlantLyfe, you grant us a limited licence to use your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

6. AI Features

PlantLyfe uses artificial intelligence for plant identification and care recommendations. Please be aware that:

• AI results are informational and may not always be accurate
• AI recommendations do not constitute professional horticultural or agricultural advice
• You should independently verify plant identifications, especially for potentially toxic or harmful plants
• We are not liable for any damage to plants or property resulting from AI recommendations

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Upload malicious content or code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by SAPANA LTD and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAPANA LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings or by contacting us.

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
